Application
For machining centres with synchronous spindle.
Execution
- Alloyed case-hardening steel with a core tensile strength of at least 950 N/mm²
- Case-hardened HRC 60 ± 2 (HV 700 ± 50), hardness depth 0.8 mm ± 0.2 mm
- Taper angle: tolerance quality less than AT 3 in accordance with DIN 7187 and DIN 2080.
- black-oxide and precision-ground.
Advantage
- Synchronous tapping chucks compensate for synchronisation faults
- Minimum length compensation in push and pull direction between synchronous spindle and screw tap reduces excessive thread flank friction forces.
- Reduces possible increase in axial forces during the cutting cycle to a minimum.
- Suitable for internal cooling.
- Max. coolant pressure of 100 bar.
