Application
Swells on contact with water to become a long, highly absorbent barrier that covers a large area, providing quick and easy protection from flooding
Execution
- Bags made of polypropylene and filler made of super-absorbent polymer (SAP)
Advantage
- Place the 1.5 m-long barrier in front of a single-door entrance in place of a sandbag to prevent flood water ingress. The barriers can be stacked for even more protection
- Lightweight, compact and easy to handle before being activated, unlike standard sandbags which are heavy, messy and labour-intensive
- The wedge shape prevents the barriers from rolling away
